PERSONAL BIO

Po is the founder and CEO of CancerFree Biotech Ltd. CancerFree Biotech was established in December 2018. Before CancerFree Biotech, Po worked at Morgan Stanley in New York City for 13 years as Vice President in the Enterprise Infrastructure and Enterprise Computing teams with great experience in big data and data security. Moreover, Po had business experience in the US, India, and Taiwan. He received his MS degree in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University. Recently, Po completed BioHealth Global Executive Program from Taipei Medical University and finished Deloitte Entrepreneur Education Program from Deloitte. Also, Po was a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), and Oracle Certified Professional Database Administrator (OCP).

Po believes that cancer is one of the biggest problems we face in our time. As human beings, we owe to chip in not just for us but for the next generation. We are on the edge of the greatness that can simulate the treatment outside of the patient before entering the treatment into patients and customize the treatment for personalized medicine of each patient. All our effort is to ensure our intellectual effort toward human suffering.

Po is a tech-savvy person and loves to learn new technology. He likes to watch Sci-Fi movies and teaches his kids how to survive when zombies attract. Po is a father with 3 lovely children.

Student of Computer Science & Information Engineering Department:
The main project is to establish a Line chat robot. What we already have is an initial structure. The intern needs to confirm with the marketing department to ensure the functions and the way of interaction have met the requirements. In addition, the intern may also assist in coding some AI algorithms.

Internship Job Description

Student of Bioinformatics/ Statistics Department:
The main project is to analyze the clinical data. We have already performed over 600 clinical cases, with a wealth of information, including our drug screen result, patient medication, and their clinical response. The intern will have to analyze the data and optimize our algorithm to provide clients a more accurate drug screen result. In addition, the intern may also assist in information collection and compilation.

Student of Marketing/ Visual Communication Design Department:
The main project is to make a marketing video. Marketing in the medical industry is quite different from other industries. In Taiwan, the regulation of advertising in the medical industry is relatively strict. The intern will have to come up with some interesting ideas with the marketing department. Meanwhile, he or she has to make sure that the video can be broadcast legally in Taiwan and other major countries. In addition, the intern may also assist in some brochure design and Facebook article writing.
