Brief Introduction of the Department

【Global UV Technology R&D】
Conduct fundamental material research and develop fiber optic coatings according to the different needs of customers in various countries. In addition to interacting with the other two R&D centers (Japan and US), will also work with a scientific and technical team in the Netherlands to conduct application and development tests to provide complete solutions to our customers. The current UV market outlook is promising, and in the future, we will expand the manpower and equipment of the research center in accordance with the development of organization. In addition to the existing focus on the market for resin and fiber-related applications, Global R&D Center in Taiwan will continue to explore more novel applications as our top priority. The goal is to effectively help reduce the carbon footprint and contribute to a green and sustainable future!

Internship Job Description

- Support laboratory-based scientific investigations by carrying out routine technical tasks and experiments.
- Collecting, receiving, labeling, and/or analyzing samples or substances using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
- Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
- Ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
- Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
- Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
- Ordering laboratory supplies, as needed.
