PERSONAL BIO

With experience in project engineer and project manager for solar power in remote places, including first nations in Canada, Monica was appointed as representative of Northland Power to Taiwan for the emerging offshore wind market in Asia. Since 2017, Monica has been enjoying the work balance between life and career as a project development leader.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND AWARDS
  • Joined Northland Power in 2010 and has worked on the company’s solar, hydro and wind power projects across Canada.
  • Relocated from Toronto to Taipei in March 2017 and be responsible for the overall performance of the HaiLong offshore wind farm.
  • Lead the Round 3 offshore wind development in Taiwan from January 2021.
  • Named as The top 100 women working in wind.
